Obituary of William Samuel Gordon

On Friday, October 16, 2009 Mr. Bill Gordon of Chauvin passed away at the Wainwright Hospital, Wainwright, Alberta at the age of 58 years. Bill is loved and remembered by his loving wife, Joy, of Chauvin; his children: Meagan (Jared) Myers of Lloydminster Ty Spencer Gordon of Victoria, BC, Casey Raye Gordon of Calgary; step son, Paul (Tina) Fennimore of Hinton and step daughter, Sheila Fennimore- McIntyre of Wainwright; 7 grandchildren: Ashley, Nicholas, Parker, Dustin, Kyle, Kaleigh, Louise; 1 brother, Robert Gordon, of Chauvin; His mother-in-law: Edna Durdle of Deer Lake, NFLD; 5 brothers-in-law: Len Coulombe of Bonnyville, AB, Sam (Pat) Durdle of Corner Brook, NFLD, Winston (Rachael) Durdle of Pasadena, NFLD and Major Carson (Audrey) Durdle S.A. of St. John, NB, Barry (Violet) Durdle of Fort McMurray, AB; 4 sisters-in-law: Minetta (Scott) Pelley, Margaret (Ronald) McDonald, Gertie (Raymond) White, Melva (Graham) all of Deer Lake, NFLD. He was predeceased by his mother Linnea, father William and sister Ardis Coulombe. A Funeral Service for Bill will be held at the Salvation Army Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 2:00 pm with Lt. Kim Bridge officiating. Interment will follow at the Deer Lake Cemetery, Deer Lake, NFLD.
