Obituary of Michael Farkash

On Saturday, October 31, 2009 Mr. Mike Farkash of Vermilion passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 89 years. He is survived by: his loving wife of 61 years, Sylvia Farkash, of Vermilion 4 Children: Allen Farkash of Fort St. John, BC, Diane (Larry) Schmidt, Wayne (Shelley) Farkash and Karen Arnold (Arnold Morton) all of Vermilion; 11 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. Mike was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Maria Farkash and 2 brothers: Joe and George Farkash At Mike’s request he was cremated and a Family Gathering will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Mike may be made to the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice.
