Obituary of Mary Arline Lamb

Mary Arline (Beaton) Lamb passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital on July 9, 2020 at the age of 79 years. Mary is lovingly remembered by her children Lynda (Stephen) Foster of Lloydminster AB; Trish (Rick) Bishop of Central Butte SK.; grandchildren Chuck (Mel) Bishop of Calgary; Mary Bishop (Duane Hamlin) of Calgary; Colton Foster of Lloydminster, AB and two great grandsons, Elliot & Alex Bishop. Mary is also survived by sisters Theresa Rigby of London, Ont., Isabela (Ken) Bacon of Judique, NS., and brother-in- law Lowell Lamb of Kingston, NB.; as well as several nieces and nephews and numerous cousins. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 46 years Neville, brother-in-law Tom Rigby and nephew Danny Fisher. Mary was born and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick, born to Archie and Marguerite (Height) Beaton. She spent some of her young adult years in Glencoe, Cape Breton and again with her young family in the 1970’s, which always remained a special and favorite place for her with lifelong friendships made. Mary and Neville married in 1964, welcomed Lynda in 1967 and Trish (aka Patsy) in 1971. Neville’s work had the family moving around the country from New Brunswick, Ontario, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan and finally Alberta. There will be no service but a private family gathering to be determined at a later date. Donations in Mary’s name may be made to the Olive Tree in Lloydminster, Prairie North Health Region, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
