Obituary of Alfred Christen Thoreson

It is with great sadness the family of Al Thoreson of Wainwright, Alberta announces his passing Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the age of 78 years. Al will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Edith; one daughter, Lorraine (Ken Brewster) of New Westminster, British Columbia; two sons, Gordon (Joanne), Grant (Mina) both of Wainwright; four granddaughters, Valerie, Richelle, Megan, Madison. Also left to mourn his passing; brother, Mervin of Claresholm, Alberta; sisters, Louise (Dempsey Christianson) of Sedalia, Joyce Deacon of Olds; brothers Art (Donna) Dahl of Red Deer, Darrell (Arlene) Dahl of Didsbury, Peter (Sharon) Dahl of Sedalia, Lester (Lorna) Dahl of Olds; many nieces, nephews and friends including including those he met through his 42 years of cutting hair in Wainwright and his association with the Prairie Rose Centre, where he was an avid pool player. He was predeceased by his parents; one brother, Lyle Dahl
