Obituary of Edward Allen Rutledge

On Friday, August 7, 2020 Mr. Ed Rutledge of Wainwright, Alberta passed away suddenly at Wainwright at the age of 67 years. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Carol; two children, Darcy Rutledge of Wainwright, Paula (Colin) Wells of Wainwright; five grandchildren, Ashlynn Rutledge, Damon Rutledge, Camrynn Rutledge, Gavin Wells, Nate Wells; his step-mother, Lorraine Rutledge of Wainwright; siblings, John (Bonnie) Rutledge, Judy (Henry) Fenton, Laurence Rutledge, Ken (Michele) Rutledge; sister-in-law, Dianne Olson; brother-in-law, Cal (Paulette) Dorland; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret Rutledge and Gordon Rutledge; sister, Kathy Rutledge; brother, Jim Rutledge; Father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ralph and Mary Dorland; brothers-in-law, Jim Dorland and Terry Olson; two nephews, Donovan Rutledge and Jesse Herbert. A Funeral service for Ed will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020. Interment will follow at the Prospect Valley Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wainwright Food Bank.
