Obituary of Carl "Eric" Nelson

On Sunday, January 10, 2021 Mr. Eric Nelson of Vermilion passed away peacefully at the age of 93 years in Prairie Edge Long term Care, Vermilion. Eric will be forever loved and remembered by his Children Brian (Harriet) Nelson of Stony Plain, Brent (Charlene) Nelson of Calgary, Jacqueline Katan of Edmonton; 8 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren; Brother Robert Nelson (Carol) of Vermilion; Sisters Dorrit Coburn of Vermilion and Evelyn Smyth of Calgary; Brothers-in-law Mike Mayowski of Vermilion and Roger Patterson of Duncan, B.C. Eric was predeceased by his Wife of 62 years Jean Nelson; Parents Thorvald “Tom” and Margit Nelson; Brother John (Shirley) Nelson; Sisters Esther (Vincent) Philippe and Margaret Patterson; Brother-in-law Howard Coburn; Sister-in-law Marion Mayowski Due to Covid-19 Restrictions A Family Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2021. The service will be livestreamed and available to view online by visiting Eric’s Obituary under photos and video tab, select webcast video.
