Obituary of Martin David Boomhower

On Thursday, June 17, 2021 Mr. Martin Boomhower of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital at the age of 56 years. Martin is survived by his wife, Anita Coates of Wainwright; two children, Curtis Coates of Edmonton and Owen Boomhower of Wainwright; brothers and sisters, Stan (Sandy) Boomhower of Vermilion, Alberta, Ron Boomhower of Red Deer, Alberta, Rhonda (Murray) Bretzer of Wainwright, Dorothy (Avard Dillman) Boomhower of Wainwright; brother-in-law, Bill (Lorraine) Coates of Devon, Alberta; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, David and Ruby Boomhower; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Barb Coates. A private family gathering will be taking place at Creech’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. A celebration of life for extended family and friends will be held at a later date. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to STARS or to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation.
