Obituary of John Johanson

On Friday, August 27, 2021 Mr. Hugh Johanson passed away in the University of Alberta Hospital, Edmonton, at the age of 80 years. Hugh is forever remembered by his Stepsons Kim Schau of Saskatoon and Kevin Schau of Islay;Grandchildren Jonathan, Jackson and Jacob Schau;Sisters in-law Helen Hansen, Colleen Titsing, Aletta (Brent) Doda; Brothers in-law Cliff (Lois) Schaumleffel, Brian (Fran) Schaumleffel; As well as his nieces, nephews, extended family, many friends and neighbors. He was predeceased by his Loving Wife Edith in 2016; Parents Ben and Jean Johanson; Parents in-law Jack and Martha Schaumleffel; Stepdaughter in-law Julie Schau; Sister in-law Marlene Schaumleffel; Brothers in-law John Titsing and Ib Hansen. A Funeral Service will held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the Vermilion Senior Centre. Hugh’s service will be livestreamed and the link can be found by selecting "Watch Webcast" found under his photo.
