Obituary of Sallyann Herbert

With much shock and in mourning, the family announces the death of their dear Mom and friend; Sallyann Herbert passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Thorsby, Alberta. Sallyann was 69 years of age and will be dearly missed. At 69 years of age, Sallyann was taken from us all too soon. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her daughter, Sandy Herbert-Simpson; son in law, Michael Simpson; grandchildren, Zander Herbert, Conner Simpson, Willow Simpson, Meadow Simpson and Bran Simpson; son, Kent Herbert Jr.; children of her heart, Cindy Pittman, Karla Olson and Mark Horning; grandchildren of her heart,  Myles Fairweather-Straga, Spencer Groenewold, Brandon Groenewald; the children of her coven sisters; sisters, Dorothy Welsh, Charleen Robinson and their families; brother, Bruce Harriott and family; the Herbert family; many, many nieces and nephews; soul sister, Lora Colp; her Coven, the Sisters of Avalons Grove; her beloved cats, Rambo, Teak, Simon, Merlin and Rocket; the Edmonton Pagan community; and many friends and neighbors. Sallyann was predeceased by her husband, Kent Herbert Sr.; grandson, Reuben Broersma; parents, Charles and Dorothy Harriott; brothers, Bill, Jack and Chucky Harriott. A funeral service to honour Sallyann's life will take place Wednesday, August 2, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at Edgerton Agricultural Hall, Edgerton, Alberta with interment to follow at Edgerton Cemetery.
