I will always remember Tom for the time he spent with us young folks(in years & knowledge) Our family was fortunate to be numbered in Uncle Willis’s & Companions fruitful mission in Southern Alberta God’s Way was new to our parents & ourselves…. Tom would gather us young ones together & ask/answer questions … a solid Foundation to build on Don’t think there was many younger children who didn’t experience Uncle Tom’s “ jumping handkerchief Mouse”. His caring ways even included babies Our paths didn’t cross often during the following years…but always that warm friendly smile & handshake of recognition when we did We will miss him & his influence…. but know he has gone on to what he lived for George & Mildred Ward’s Family

As children, we loved him for the tissue mice he made us; for the fact that he loved Kraft dinner and hotdogs as much as we did; and he always had time for us and he taught us to love fellowship and singing the hymns until we were hoarse.
As grown men and women we loved that incredible smile with an unflappable spirit of kindness; his example of steadfastness and quiet perseverance.
Uncle Tom influenced my life for the last 50+ years and he will not be forgotten.
My condolences to his family, his fellow ministers, and to all who cared for him and loved him.

Dear Tom, my friend and mentor, God has finished His perfect work and called you home. Thanks Nando and Minerva for your loving care of Tom and the others in your care there. It was Tom and Eldon that I visited with in April ‘82 when I felt called to the ministry. Both those men are/were dear to me, so inspiring just by the life they lived and the joy that radiated from them. Called home to rest: Sweet recompense beyond all expectation, Celestial joys before the throne of God Await the heirs of Christ and true salvation, Who here on earth through fiery trials trod.

I, too am very grateful for the life of Tom, a true Minister of the Lord. He was so very kind and compassionate at the time of our Fatherss death and again when our Mother passed away. Memories of our need then and his help will always remain with me and us. I am thankful now to think of Tom having finished his earthly journey in victory, and this encourages me today to keep pressing on. Iona Drummond.

We appreciated the time we had with Tom in Georgia. He was never in our field but we would see him at convention and special meetings and were lucky enough to have him in our home during a special meeting visit. We appreciated his encouraging manner and always looked forward to hearing him speak.

So wonderful to have good memories of Tom. From my childhood. Then he was in my field when I first moved away from home to Red Deer and was a kind encouragement. And then especially from times when I was in the ministry on the same staff. So glad he fought the good fight and has laid his shield down in victory.

Always a smile, always a gentle word, always manifested kindness. Tom was a special gentleman. Fond memories of him as our worker in the Calgary NE field. Good Memories of his gospel meetings in the Conrich School. He often encouraged us to be found "Rightly diving the Word". We feel earthly sadness, but have Heavenly joy for what he has gone to. We are truly thankful for his labour of love.
