Obituary of Rosa Blair

It is with sadness that the family of Rose Blair announce her peaceful passing on January 14, 2018 at the age of 96 years. Rose’s memory will live on in the hearts of her daughters, her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and their families. She is survived by five daughters: Mary Swyripa, Betty Bowman, Sheila Blair, Linda Springstead and Shelley Blair-Williams (Ben). She is also survived by her brother Fred Beek (Edith), one sister Louisa Tverdeay, her sister-in-law Ruby Wynne and numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased in 1999 by Wray, her husband of 60 years, by her parents Frederick and Marie, and 10 brothers and sisters. Cremation has taken place and a family grave-side ceremony will be held to lay Rose to rest. A family celebration of Rose’s life will be held at a later date. Donations in Rose’s memory will gratefully be accepted by the Kitscoty Cemetery or Friends of the Vermilion Health Centre.
