Obituary of Michelle Dawn Ganie

On Thursday, January 18, 2018 Michelle Ganie of Irma, Alberta passed away after a lengthy but valiant battle with breast cancer, at the Viking Health Centre at the age of 45 years. Michelle was a beloved wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, and valued member of her community and will be sorely missed. She leaves behind her husband, Randy; sons, Justin, Ty and Logan; dad, Trevor (Corinne) Jones; mom, Sarah Anne Jones; mother-in-law, Betty Ganie; siblings, Kari Lynn Jones, Dean (Catherine Williams) Jones and Greg (Mary) Jones; nieces and nephews: Braeden Williams, Montana Bennett, Mahri Jones; and Oliver, Ellen and Henry Jones; great-nephews and nieces; as well as many extended family and dear friends. Michelle was predeceased by her father-in-law, John. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2018, 11:00 a.m. from Irma School with Pastor Wayne Neumiller officiating. Interment to take place at Irma Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations would be gratefully accepted to: Irma School Improvement Project, Irma Minor Ball, Wainwright Kids Sport or Irma Minor Hockey.
