Obituary of Jay W Simpson

With broken hearts and an immeasurable sense of loss, the family announces the sudden passing of Jay Simpson, doting father and uncle, loving husband and loyal friend. Jay Simpson of Wainwright passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Wainwright at the age of 40 years. Jay is forever remembered and deeply missed by his loving family, his wife, Jen; three children, Emmalee, Mackenzie and Alex; his parents, Bill and Theresa Simpson of Wainwright; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Daryl and Glenda Hoey of Wainwright; one brother, Roy (Mel) Simpson of Wainwright; one sister, Bridie Simpson of Wainwright; sister-in-law, Cheryl (Aaron) Long of Lloydminster; his nieces and nephews, Deklin, Colten, Sadie, Kendra and Amy; his maternal grandparents, Ernie and Ev Vardy of Wainwright; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Jay, we will remember you and everything that made you special to all who were fortunate enough to have had their lives touched by you, which cannot be put into words, you will live forever in our hearts and memories. A Funeral service for Jay will be conducted on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the Church of the Nazarene, Wainwright. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the NICU Misericordia Community Hospital or the Northern Alberta Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation.
