Obituary of Victor Neville Carter

On Tuesday, August 21, 2018 Mr. Victor Carter of Irma, Alberta passed away at the Viking Extendicare Facility, Viking, Alberta at the age of 94 years. Victor was born the third child to Ken and Hilda Carter. In 1943 Hilda left the farm and moved to Edmonton; taking with her Colin and Marcella. Victor joined them for a short time; however, city life was not for him so he returned to the homestead shortly thereafter, where he remained. Vic is survived by his nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his siblings; Ruby MacPherson, Vivian Carter, Anthony Carter, Marcelle Bailey, and Colin Carter. A graveside service will be held August 31, 2018 at 10:30 AM at the Irma Cemetery. A luncheon to follow at 11:00 AM at the Irma New Horizons Centre.
