Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Pawsey

On Thursday, October 4, 2018 Mrs. Margaret Pawsey of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Health Centre at the age of 95 years. Margaret is survived by her four children, Carol (Gordon) Massie of Edgerton, Alberta, Wayne (Rhonda) Pawsey of Cochrane, Alberta, Kathy Bevans of Edmonton, Alberta, Stan (Barb) Paswey of White City, Saskatchewan; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; three sisters-in-law, Lenore McBride of Wainwright, Inez White of Williams Lake, British Columbia, Bunny Pawsey of British Columbia; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Art on March 31, 1987; granddaughter, Terri Lee Massie; parents, Fred and Elsie McBride; brothers, Stan McBride, Bill McBride, Claire McBride, Eddie McBride; one sister Rita Stanyer. A Funeral service for Margaret will be conducted on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the St. Thomas Anglican Church, Wainwright. Interment will follow in the Wainwright Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wainwright Hospital Palliative Care Fund.
