Obituary of Jennie Wendelgass

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Jennie Wendelgass of Edmonton, Alberta on November 20, 2008 at the age of 72, in the Glenrose Hospital after a lengthy illness. She leaves to mourn her loss, two sons, Randy (Jill) Ozechowski and Glen Green, both of Edmonton, Two grandchildren, Candice Ozechowski of Atlanta, Georgia and Jenalee Green of Edmonton, 3 sisters Olga Krechuniak and Phyllis Dohanik of Edmonton and Sophie (Joe) Weisgerber of Medicine Hat, plus numerous nephews and nieces, as well as many friends. She was predeceased by her parents John in 1961 and Katherine in 1985, her husband Jim Wendelgass in 1992, her sisters Anne Boychuk in 1982, Alice Letawsky in 1991, Rosie Quayle in 2003 as well as her brothers Pete in 1990, Bill in 2004 and Harry Ozechowski in 2004. At Jennie’s request no service will be held. After cremation there will be a graveside farewell for family and friends on Wednesday November 26 at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
