Obituary of Alexander MacDonald

On Monday June 20, 2011 Mr. Sandy MacDonald of Lloydminster passed away at the Lloydminster, Hospital at the age of 85 years. Sandy is loved and remembered by His wife Connie of Lloydminster, Children: Darrel (Katherine) Sterkenburg of Lloydminster, Gail (Mick) Manson of Little Fishing Lake, SK, Diana (Monty) Grant of Lloydminster; 5 grandchildren: Ethan Sterkenbug, Jesse and Kody Manson, Megan and Brittany Grant; 5 brothers: Jim MacDonald of Lloydminster, Hector (Sylvia) MacDonald of Calgary, Ron (Doreen) MacDonald of Lloydminster, Malcolm (Sylvia) MacDonald of Chilliwack, BC, Neil (Sandra) MacDonald of Calgary; 3 sisters: Betty Norman of Lloydminster, Pat (Connie) Dewald of Medicine Hat, AB and Sheila Bidewell as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents: Donald and Helen MacDonald; brothers: Don, John and George and a sister who died in infancy. A Celebration of Sandy’s Life will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Holy Spirit Parish Hall (5120-54A Street, Lloydminster, AB) Donations may be made to the Lloydminster Legion , or to the charity of your choice.
