Obituary of Jenny Cornelia de Jong

Jenny de Jong passed away on October 26, 2019 in Vermilion, Alberta at the age of 94 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Andy children Peter (Suzanne), Leo (Gloria), Henry (Lillian), Diana (Grant) Irvine, Bernie (Vera), and Darlene (Murray) Barlow; grandchildren Brian (Angela), Suzette (Chris) Harrower-deJong, Sheri (Joe) Kolacz, Grace (Josh) Dykstra, Michelle (Mitch) Radasic, Craig, Shustyn, Lorin Irvine, Janna Irvine, Christopher, Jamie (Trish), Darren (Riehland), Kaitlyn Younger, Amanda (Scott) Burak, and Mark Barlow great grandchildren Tyler, Nathan, Griffin, Finnley, Logan, Colby, Espen, and Arrington; as well by numerous family and friends. She was predeceased by her infant son Leonard. A Memorial Service will be taking place at the First United Church, Vermilion on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Vermilion Valley Lodge, Wellsdale Cemetery, or a charity of choice.
