So sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. She was a kind and caring person who befriended my mother when we moved to Wainwright way back when. Margaret always made a point of asking about my mom after she moved away. Margaret and I had some interesting conversations over the years; especially about living healthy! We just read, in the Edmonton Journal, about Margaret's death on Jan. 11. We were saddened to hear this as I have a long history with Margaret, going back to the days when I was a dentist in Wainwright, and she was a patient. Margaret was a very friendly, gregarious, warm and colorful lady.We will always remember her colorful hats at church.She was also a pioneer in advocating herbal medicine.She and Harold were icons in the Wainwright community and she will be missed by all.Our sincere condo lences to the McMann clan, Greg, Shirley and family (with braces),Dwayne, Cecil and Jacqueline. To the Harold and Margaaret McMann Families, Our thought and prayers are with you in this your time of happy sadness. Yes, what an oxymoron! Sadness in losing the physical contact with your mom, and happy in that your mom is now with your dad. When we lived on main street, two house down from your parents, they were always kind and gentle to our children. We are still in their debt, and are thankful for our associations with them.
