To the O'Connor family Joe is the type of person that stays with you even when you don't see him. His sense of humor, his smile and in general enjoyment of life. We had many happy times with Victim Services - we also shared a great laugh at his 50 birthday when all the brothers were here and Constable Balke came down and they all wanted her to put them in cells. Joe will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he touched in his own personal way. I know you grieve his loss but he is at peace and keeping all the angels busy. What I remember most about Joe is his infectious laugh and how quickly he would laugh with the tiniest provocation. His warm personality and easy going sense of humour made everyone around him feel so "at home". His generosity towards others was wholehearted and without boundaries. The outpouring of hugs and condolences to Laura Lynn and Noreen on Facebook since his passing are evidence of this. It goes without saying that family reunions won't be the same without him. We will miss Joe dearly. I hope that, during this time of grief, your family takes some small measure of comfort in the knowledge that he was so well loved by so many.
