Darren, Darcy Cory and Kirby, my deepest condolences on the passing of your mom. My heart breaks for you. Your mom was an amazing lady. She was the hardest working woman I have ever known.She could'nt wait to get her garden in each year so she could feast on her tomatoes and often told me how she loved to go to the acreage and ride the mower for hours with Kirby.There were many Sunday mornings she would call me and chat over coffee telling me how many different goodies she had already made for her grandkids that morning. She made sure to make each grandchild their favorites even if that meant baking many different things in one day. This was nothing out of the ordinary for Chris, she was very good to those she loved, and she loved her family very much.Chris was very proud of her boys and grandchildren, and she had good reason for that. While working full time she raised 4 boys that all turned into fine young men.Everyone of them is a gentleman , and like their mom , not afraid of hard work. Chris was also extremely proud of her grandchildren and all they have accomplished. When my mother passed away this past April Chris made sure to "keep an eye" on me calling and texting to make sure I was okay.She made sure when my birthday came around that I wasn't alone and had me come for supper and had made me a delicious birthday dessert. Chris was truly someone worthy of the name mom. because she was one of the best this world has to offer.Thank you for sharing her with me.I will miss her very much.

It is with a heavy heart that I want to pass on my sincere sympathy to you sons Darren, Darcy, Corey, Kirby and families on the unexpected loss of your Mother. No matter what age or what time the loss of our luved one is not suppose to happen to us and it is so final when it does occur. Your Mum was a wonderful person who touched many lives and she will be remembered forever not only by her family but by many people. I know your Mum was very proud of you boys and your families now it is time for yous to be proud of who your mum was, not only your mum but a great part of the community. May memories ease your pain in the days ahead. It is with deep regret that I am unable to attend the funeral due to a prior commitment. Will be thinking of yous especially on Thursday at 3. Chris' Family Just read now of your loss. I remember so well the many hours we spent together when we lived in Vermilion, and even after we had left. She always had a big smile on her face and was filled with laughter. She certainly was very proud of you boys and all that you had accomplished. Take care and hold on to the memories you have. Darren, Darcy, Cory and Kirby, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. My heart breaks for all of you. Your mom was an amazing woman. She was the hardest working woman I have ever known. She didn't seem to know how to sit still for a minute. She worked hard all her life whether at home or in the store. She looked so forward to getting her garden in so she could feast on her tomatoes and plant her flowers for her deck. She loved to go out to the acreage and ride the mower for hours just cutting grass with Kirby. Many Sundays were spent baking goodies for her grandchildren , a different goodie for each grandchild so that they could all get their favorites.i have wonderful memories of crazy laugh till you cried times with your mom .When my mom passed away this passed April , your mom made sure to call or text me often to keep an eye on me and make sure I was okay. I am proud to have known your mom but never in a million years could I be as proud as she was of all of you. Darren, there were many times your mom told me what an amazing dad you are , Darcy, she said ""Darcy is crazy he makes me laugh so much" Cory she said you worked too hard but like mother like son I guess.Kirby she always told me how good you were to her, how well you took care of her.. She bragged about Brayden , Kerri , Kyle ,Brianna, Karisa, and Carsyn any chance she got.i will miss her very much , thank you for sharing her with me.
