Obituary of Awilda Mae Pioker

On Saturday, June 14, 2014 Mrs. Awilda Pioker of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright General Hospital, Wainwright at the age of 91 Years. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Steve; five children, John (MaryAnn) Pioker of Hardisty, Alberta, Stan (Heather) Pioker of Wainwright, Dale (Pam) Pioker of Wainwright, Linda Pioker (Brad Nilson) of Metiskow, Alberta, Beth (Larry) Robinson of Wainwright; eleven grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; one brother, Ivan Fitzpatrick; one sister, Pearl Reed. She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Harriet Fitzpatrick; five brothers and four sisters. Funeral Service for the late Mrs. Awilda Pioker will be conducted on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 1:00 PM from the Grace United Church, Wainwright with Reverend Anne McGrath officiating. Interment will follow in the Wainwright Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Wainwright Health Foundation for Palliative Care (Furniture) or to the Alzheimer’s Society.
