Obituary of Hazel Gertrude Mitchell

On Sunday, July 20, 2014 Mrs. Hazel Mitchell of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Long Term Care Facility at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her loving family; four children, Danny (Cheryl) Mitchell of Wainwright, Debbie Weder of Edgerton, Alberta, Peggy (Marty Moffitt) White of Edgerton, Vida Deegan of Kelowna, British Columbia; fourteen grandchildren and their families; one brother, Stan Warman; one sister, Vi (Vic) Austin. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Mitchell her companion of twenty five years, Jack MacDonald; one son, Garry; one son-in-law, Ed Weder. A private family service for the late Hazel Mitchell will take place. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital or to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
