Obituary of Carl Dennis Shantz

On Tuesday, December 16, 2014 Mr. Carl Shantz of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright General Hospital at the age of 67 years. Carl is survived by his wife, Joan of Wainwright; two children, Dennis Shantz of Wainwright, Tanya Moggy of Caroline, Alberta; two grandchildren, Parker and Deandria, six siblings, Ellen (Lloyd) Weber of Lanigan, Saskatchewan, Keith (Martha) Shantz of Bethune, Saskatchewan, Pat (Bill) Mantle of Blenheim, Ontario, Wilma Fortheringham of Lanigan, Gilbert (Pat) Shantz of Beaumont, Alberta, Gordon (Elaine) Shantz of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. A Funeral service for the late Mr. Carl Shantz will be conducted on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the Evangelical Free Church, Wainwright with Pastor Marvin Penner officiating. A private family interment will take place in the Wainwright Cemetery at 11:00 AM. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to STARS or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta.
