Obituary of Dorothy Lillian Anderson

On Monday, February 9, 2015 Dorothy Anderson of Wainwright, Alberta and formerly of Chauvin, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright General Hospital at the age of 80 years. Dorothy is survived by her son, Dwayne of Wainwright; three sisters-in-law, Amy Anderson, Ellen Anderson and Jean Anderson all of Wainwright as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Knut and Hilda Anderson; seven siblings, Lloyd Anderson, Bill Anderson, Madeline Baxter, Palmer Anderson, Glenn Anderson, Gordon Anderson and Ken Anderson. A Funeral service for the late Dorothy Anderson will be conducted on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 1:00 PM from Creech’s Funeral Chapel, Wainwright with Reverend Ann Marie Nicklin officiating. Interment will follow at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, Alberta Lung Association or Wainwright Hospital Palliative Care (Make Cheques payable to Community Health Foundation, Memo Line: Palliative Care)
