Obituary of Charles Augustin Young

On Friday, June 5, 2015 Mr Charles Young of Viking and formerly of Vermilion passed away at the Viking Hospital at the age of 79 years. Charlie is loved and remembered by his wife Peggy of Viking; his children: Darcy (Ken) Jordan of Strathmore, Marty (Maureen) Young of Morinville, Carrie (Arnold) Jordan of Calgary, Charlie (Wendy) Young of Lindbergh, Heather (Peter) Segerius of Williams Lake; 20 Grandchildren & 14 Great Grandchildren; Brothers-in-law James Pattison of Edmonton and Dan (Alice) Leversedge; Sisters-in-law Grace Young of Vermilion and Kate (Norman) Maxwell He was predeceased by his infant son Casey, parents Charles and Marguerite Young, sisters Emily, Georgette, Marjorie, Gladys, Mildred, Rita and brother Douglas A Funeral Service for Charlie will be held at the Vermilion Regional Centre, on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Merlin Affleck, Arnold Blonke and Janet Dorey officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Vermilion Public Cemetery. Donations in Memory of Charlie may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation
