Obituary of Almon Arthur Archibald

On Monday, November 30, 2015 Mr. Sonny Archibald of Irma, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Viking Health Centre at the age of 78 years, surrounded by his loving family. Sonny is survived by his loving wife, Margaret of Irma; three sons, Curtis (Denise) of Vancouver, British Columbia, Darin (Kristine) of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Shanon (Michelle) of Ponoka, Alberta; twelve grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one brother, Garry (Ruth) of Irma; four sisters, Lorna Jackson of Irma, Vivian (Keith) Firkus of Irma, Colleen Moffat of Sherwood Park, Irene Lawrin of Chilliwack, British Columbia; Margaret's siblings and their spouses; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Jennene McLeod; two brothers, George and Lawrence. A Funeral service for the late Sonny Archibald will be conducted on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Irma School Auditorium, Irma with Reverend Anne McGrath officiating. Interment will follow in the Irma Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation.
