Gunner leaves to mourn; his wife and best friend Angela, two sons Shilo, Levi, grandsons Ethan and Phoenix; brothers Rick Gaska (Bev & family, Ont.), Kurt Dollinger (Rose & family, Ont.), sister Linda Casement(Barrie & family, Ont.), several nieces, nephews and close family friends (you know who you are) and co-workers from Universal Ind. Gunner was born in Frankfurt, Germany on Feb.04, 1956 and came to Canada in January of 1958. He worked hard all his life and was an excellent husband and provider, father, grampa, brother, friend. Always there when needed, Gunner left a footprint on your heart, with his charm, kindness and practical jokes. A man that could do anything, he lived for the outdoors, an avid hunter and fisher (4 bullets,4 deer just last month) and could build you a house. To the Lloyd Hospital; emergency nurses Holly and Caitlyn (bless your hearts), palliative nurses Vanessa (you’re amazing, an angel) and April (much love), Tony (the gentle giant) and the RT for making him comfortable, Dr.Adeleke for your compassionate soul. Alva at Creech’s Crematorium for the guidance and compassion, and anyone missed, our sincerest thanks, bless you all. Following Gunners wishes, services will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers donations in memory of Gunner may be made to the Fish and Game association in your area.
