It is hard to believe that you've been gone for a year my son. The calendar may say January 14th 2017 but it feels like only yesterday. We miss you. We love you. People that think that time will ease the pain have no idea what they're talking about. It never goes away. It never will. There's two empty spaces in our lives where you and Mike used to be. Your girl Cristin still has your Dodge Ram and still has your dog Henry....I doubt she'll ever part with either. She'll always be part of this family. We will try to hold on to the memories of happy times with you my son. You got cheated out of a normal life , but I think that the 28 years you were with us were good ones , and happy ones. Mom and I think about you boys every day. We miss you every day. I will see you again my son , and hear your voice again. You are loved. Always.

We planted a tree , a weeping birch , in our back yard today , June 2nd 2016 , on what would have been Jeff's 29th birthday. Rita and I , and Jeff's brothers Shane ( Carrie) and Mike , his sister Shannon , and Jeff's girlfriend Cristin were here to celebrate his life. Even his dog , Henry attended. You live on in our hearts and in our memories , my son. We will see you again one day.

I am so very sorry for your loss and I can't begin to imagine what it must be like to loose someone so close to your heart. I do however hope you can find solace in knowing that although times change, people move on and life leads people in different directions along the way there are people like the kind of person Jeff was who leave memories that can never be replaced.
