Obituary of Clarence Beck

On Sunday, March 6, 2016 Mr. Melvin Beck of Islay, AB passed away the Vermilion Health Centre at the age of 90 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Mabel Beck of Islay; 3 children Vivian Pengelly of Islay, Phyllis (Mike) Ortynski of Cranbrook, and Monte (Debbie) Beck of Islay; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Ruby Hunt and Violet Proudlove. He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Harriet Beck; sisters Edna (Dalt) Torrance and Vivian (Wayne) Crowder; brothers Howard (Eileen) Beck and Clifford (Marie) Beck; son in-law Al Pengelly; and brothers in-laws Alfred Hunt and Lloyd Proudlove In keeping with Melvin's wishes a private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. If so desired donations in memory of Melvin can be made to the Islay Cemetery Fund or STARS
