Obituary of Robert Merrick Baxter

On Sunday, May 1, 2016 Mr. Bob Baxter of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at his home at Points West Living at the age of 96 years. Bob is survived by his loving family; three daughters, Sue (Jim) Muir of Wainwright, Ann Ritchie of Kelowna, British Columbia, Brenda (Charlie) Della-Mora of Edmonton, Alberta; six grandchildren, Corrie Ritchie, Shannon (Bruce) Pugh, Laura (Calvin) Kelley, Robin (Marty) Shaw, Katherine (Kim) Ellis, Andrew Della-Mora; his great grandchildren, Emma Pugh, Colby Pugh, Cadence Pugh, Devin Kelley, Ethan Kelley, Graydon Frank, Kristen Shaw, Brendan Shaw, Ryan Shaw, Kai Ellis, Kierra Ellis; one sister, Joyce MacDonald of Victoria, British Columbia. He was predeceased by his wife, Louise; grandson, Jason Ritchie; brother, Pat Baxter; sister-in-law, Doris Johnston; brother-in-law, Syd Pawson. A Funeral service for the late Bob Baxter will be conducted on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 1:00 PM from the St. Thomas Anglican Church, Wainwright with Reverend Ann Marie Nicklin officiating. Interment will follow in the Wainwright Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wainwright Cemetery Foundation, Battle River Lodge, Points West Living Resident Fund, Wainwright Hospital Palliative Care or the charity of the donors choice.
