Obituary of Roy Pioker

On Tuesday, November 12, 2019 Mr. Roy Pioker of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Auxiliary Hospital at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Glenn Lavallee) Dunkerley of Drumheller, Alberta; son-in-law, Rob (Darla) Green of Calgary, Alberta; five grandchildren, Troy (Nicole Lehocky) Dunkerley of Cold Lake, Alberta, Dallas (Seema) Hoeft of Calgary, Jenelle (Steven) Teslak of Calgary, Vince (Vannessa) Green of Wainwright, Len (Char) Green of Wainwright; eight great grandchildren, Rory, Ethan, Jada, Brady, Jacob, Blake, Bristol, Jolene; sister-in-law, Dorothy Pioker of Wainwright; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret in 2012; daughter, Laurie Green in 2012; as well as three brothers. A Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 1:00 PM from Creech’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Wainwright Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wainwright Auxiliary Patient Comfort Fund or the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
