Obituary of David Gilbert Scott

David Scott passed away in Vermilion at the age of 86 years. He is lovingly remembered by his children Deborah Scott of Salt Spring Island, Cheryl Scott of Vermilion, Bonnie (Stan) Bauer of Vermilion, and Bryce (Shelly) Scott of Vermilion; grandchildren Amber (Greg) Sneep, Megan (Kyle) Keller,  Curtis (Sarah) Bauer, Jennifer (Erik) Anderson, Teri (Jon) Aitken, and Todd (Heather) Onsorge; great grandchild Sullivan, Crosby, Kenna and Ames Keller, and Sophia Bauer, and Brynlee and Rhylan Anderson, and Danielle and Luke Ellis; siblings Joyce (Al) Wood and Bob (Vera) Scott all of British Columbia half-brother Clifford (Adele) Scott of Millet; sister in-law Mabel Patterson of Vermilion; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn, his angel here on earth and in heaven; his parents Castle and Ivy (nee Coe) Scott; his step-mother Ivy (nee Attfield) Scott; and his siblings Helen Thrasher, Denis Scott and Jim Scott. The family and a few close friends will gather for a private celebration of David's life on Saturday, November 18th. Memorial Donations may be made to Friends of Vermilion Health Centre, Cross Cancer Institute or charity of one's choice.
