Obituary of Kenneth Henry Gilbert

Kenneth Gilbert passed away March 22, 2017 in Wainwright at the age of 95 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Harriet Lewis; children Jane (Grant) Brydges, Marie (Don) Sather, Kenneth Gilbert, Joan (Greg) Hughes, Laura (Allen) Davey, Dorothy (Hugh) Cleland, and Hazel (Mike) Chase 20 grandchildren; many great grandchildren;1 great great grandchild; siblings Gladys Cannan, Kay Milburn, Edith Osborn, Herbert (Jean) Gilbert, Tom (Irene) Gilbert, and Nora Osborn and numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Emma Gilbert; sister Florence Sharp; and great grandson Damon Kent. A Funeral Service will be held at the Parkview Alliance Church, 5902 -52 Avenue, Vermilion on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Vermilion Legion, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or charity of choice.
