Obituary of John Henry Sweeney

John Sweeney passed away February 8, 2017 in Vermilion at the age of 71 years. He was lovingly remembered by his wife Maxine Sweeney; children Shawna (Terry) Duffield, Shalene Zayac, and Raylene Sweeney; grandchildren Kalyca Luco, Stehsha Zayac, and Oliver Collins; great grandchildren Harmony - Elijah Larsen; brothers Edward (Lynda) Sweeney, Robert (Caroline) Sweeney, Tom Sweeney (Teresa Tuttle); sisters Margaret Carey (Bob Eyre) and Holly (Pat) Lawrence. John was predeceased by his son Shawn Sweeney; parents Harry Sweeney and Thelma Bezaire; step father Clarence Bezaire sisters Rose Bellig and Marjorie Ewert. Funeral Service will be taking place at First United Church, Vermilion on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. In Leiu of Flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
