Obituary of Edna Torrance

Edna Torrance passed away December 3, 2015 in Vermilion at the age of 94 years. Left to cherish her memory are daughter Linda (Doug) Van den Dolder; granddaughter Becky (Ron) Barr; great grandchildren Madelyn & Evan Barr; siblings Ruby (Alf) Hunt, Violet Proudlove, and Melvin (Mabel) Beck; many, many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews. She goes to join her husband Dalt Torrance; grandson Bradley Van den Dolder; parents Albert and Harriet Beck; siblings Clifford (Marie) Beck, and Howard (Eileen) Beck, Vivian (Wayne) Crowder; brother in law Lloyd Proudlove; and many other family members and friends. A Farewell to Edna will take place at the Islay Community Hall on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial Donations may be made to the Islay Cemetery, Islay Hospital Auxiliary, or a charity of choice.
