Obituary of Ed Matters

Ed Matters passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in Vegreville at the age of 54 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Debbie Matters; children John (Tamika) Matters, Sharon (Donald) Coombs, and Dustin (Lauren) Detta; grandchildren Dannae & Felix Matters and Ryker & Ethan Detta; siblings Sandy Matters, Chuck Matters, and Jay (Alta) Matters; sisters in law Karen (Gerald) Teeuwsen, Donna (Dale) Tangjerd, and Laurie (Chad) Bryanton; mother in law Joyce Emerson as well as many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents John and Elsie Matters; and father in law Myron Emerson. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Innisfree Hall on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Stollery Children's Hospital, STARS, or the charity of the donor's choice.
