Obituary of Glen G. Mikesh

Glen Garfield Mikesh was born March 16, 1928 in Hughenden, Alberta to James and Ferella Mikesh. He passed away at his home in Points West Living, Wainwright, Alberta at 89 years of age on June 12, 2017. Glen is lovingly remembered by his children, Lynn (Darrell) Whitney of Farmington, Maine, Glen Jr. (Denise) Mikesh of Chestermere, Alberta, and April (Edward) Haun of Wainwright, Alberta; his grandchildren, Cassidy Haun, Kayle Haun and Alexandria Mikesh; sister, Florence (Doug) Gray of Czar, Alberta, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, James and Ferella Mikesh; brothers, Jimmy and Fred Mikesh and sisters, Marie Hallett and Hazel Voros. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, June 16, 2017, 3:30 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Wainwright, Alberta with Father Andrzej Lukaszewicz officiating. Interment will follow at Wainwright Cemetery.
