Obituary of Lyla Rae Porter

On Friday, January 29, 2021 Ms. Lyla Porter passed away in the Vermilion Health Centre at the age of 80 years. Lyla is loved and remembered by her Brother Bill (Brenda) Porter of Beaumont; Sister Reta (Peter) Link of Surrey, B.C; Brother In-Law Andy (Sharon) Lagassé of Ottawa;Nieces and Nephews Shannon (Brad) Marshall, Taryn Porter (Miguel Braun), Peter Link Jr., Michelle (Sean) Moore, Jeanine (Gordon Adams) Lagassé; Great-Nephews Austin and Seamus;As well as her extended family and numerous close friends Lyla was predeceased by her Parents Clifton and Hazel Porter; and Sister Shirley Lagassé. In keeping with Lyla’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Vermilion Senior Centre. Lyla’s family ask that you please wear a mask to help protect everyone from Covid 19. If so desired donations in memory of Lyla may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute of Charity of Donor’s choice.
