Obituary of Dr. Ronald Arnold Payment

On Thursday, June 29, 2017 Dr. Ron Payment of Vermilion passed away at the age 93 years in the Country Corner Cottage Long Term Care Facility. Ron will be loved and remembered by his Loving Wife of 69 years Emelia Payment of Vermilion; Children Janine Shalka of Fort Kent, and Arnold Payment (Elizabeth Cowley) of Sydney, Australia; Grandchildren Tricia (Steve Artim) Shalka, Matthew Shalka (Sarv Jahankhani), Jason Shalka and Drew Shalka (Andrea Chalut); As well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his Parents Arnold and Mary Payment;Sister Marjorie (Bud) Darrach; Son-In-Law Lennard Shalka; and Grandson Martin Shalka A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at the Holy Name Roman Catholic Church, Vermilion, Alberta.
