I am so sorry to hear this. My thoughts are with you all. Going to the Rutledge ranch as a kid was always so much fun, especially for this town kid. I recall a birthday party for Chad & Corey and I wore one of my nice sweaters. I spilled orange pop down the front and just as I was about to get upset, Laurence said to me 'first day with your new lips?' he made me laugh and all was well. I will never forget it! I’m so sorry to hear of Laurence’s passing. I have many great childhood memories of him and his family at the Rutledge Ranch. Some of my memories of Laurence include tying my first loose tooth to the door knob with a piece of string and him teaching me how to de-feather a bird at their annual chicken day! He took so much pride in his family and the ranch. I hope your memories will bring you comfort during this difficult time.
